Another before & after
Okay the "angelic light effect" was an accident... I swear... but it beats the "before" photo, and that's the whole point of these before and afters, right?
I am most definitely not used to my new face... I'm not going to lie! It's not doing what it's supposed to yet (like my lips look funny when I talk still, I don't have the confidence to really "stretch" my jaw muscles, my skin hurts under my eyes, my nose is still sore...etc etc). While I love my new profile and my new smile, as well as my face at rest, it's the animation thing that is causing my neuroses to flare up now. Sigh... it's usually one thing or another, so this week (really) it's the animation thing. I found myself mouthing the alphabet in the mirror just to see how limited my movements are. Sometimes I bite my lip when talking (totally unpredictable as to when this will happen, btw). As I keep saying, it's an adjustment. Still some swelling hanging on.
Overall, it's not too sucky, ha ha. But I can be... So there you have it.
hey do you have facebook account? i had the same surgery 3 months ago and there are 2 support groups on facebook from who people who have had the same procedure, theres 400+ photos from people too on there and forums.
wow what a transformation, youre so beautiful! do you have facebook? I have some surgery pics too on my facebook, but the results are not as dramatic as yours.
I'm also having orthognathic surgery with secondary surgery for "augmented lighting effects." I might get aromatherapy too. But it costs extra. Congrats. You look great.
Who are you people with all the super fancy comments? Wooden teeth? Secondary lighting effects and aromatherapy? At least 51% sensical comments from now on.
